100th birthday celebration

Congratulations to Mrs Joan Bull (Kirribilli ’34), mother of the four Bull sisters, all Loreto Normanhurst ex-students, who celebrated her 100th birthday on 10th November 2017.

Congratulations to Jillian Kilby (’01)  who has been awarded the AgriFutures Australia 2018 NSW-ACT Rural Women’s Award.  Jillian won the award  for helping regional start-ups prosper by giving them, particularly women in rural and remote Australia,  the advice and confidence they need to  build their businesses.

Jillian was presented the award by the NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian at a gala dinner at NSW Parliament House in mid April.

Jillian owns The Infrastructure Collaborative advising both Australian and US clients on how to shift infrastructure projects from planning shelves to be shovel ready. Jillian is passionate about mentoring  and connecting people and holds very dear her Loreto girlfriends of 20 years.

Congratulations to Emma Fessey(’14)  for winning bronze for Australia in the Women’s Eight crew at the Rowing World Cup in Linz, Austria in June.
