Canberra Chapter Reunion News

On Saturday 14 March,  before the ‘lockdown’ period, Loreto Alumni gathered for the annual Canberra Loreto Chapter gathering. The Mass at St Benedict’s Narrabundah, presided by Father Dan Benedetti, was a calm and inspiring way to set the mood for this annual event.

As a result of contributions and the raffle, a donation of $2000 was made to Mary Ward International Australia.

It was wonderful to have so many age groups and Loreto Convents represented from across the country, cementing the Canberra lunch as a unique and wonderful tradition.

Thanks to all who were involved  – please see below for next year’s details.

Alumni, reunions and reconnecting

Want to organise your year group reunion? Can’t remember everyone from your year group or don’t know where to start? Keeping privacy in mind, the school can help you compile lists and connect you with alumni in our database. We can also assist in promoting your event through our various social media channels and digital and print communications.

This year, you could consider something different, such as  a ‘virtual reunion’. Zoom Video Conferencing is an ideal platform for gathering together from afar and there are many different ideas for ‘virtual gatherings’ on the internet.  Don’t forget you can also reach out through the Loreto Normanhurst Alumni Facebook page – click HERE
